Windfair: Tell us about your future developments. What can we expect in the next year or two?
Roy Sheldon: “New wind turbines are being developed all the time,” says Roy Sheldon, Sales Director at Tentec. “with manufacturers and contractors constantly looking for new tooling and more efficient ways to carry out bolt tensioning on bigger and bigger turbines. “Some projects need to be looked at what is the requirement and then be forwarded to our Engineering dept. to develop the most suitable tooling explains Roy, “whereas others are more complex and make full use of our in-house design team, their knowledge and expertise. We have been working with many of the major wind turbine manufacturers to supply customized systems to fit their latest turbine models.”
