Romania and Moldovia: focus markets for the commercial partnership and cooperation between Molins de Vent TARRAGÓ and SEDEPE

After several months of negotiations, a meeting between representatives of the Romanian company SEDEPE (i.e. the managing directors Stefan D. Popa and Stefan D. Petcu) and Molins de Vent TARRAGÓ took place on the 25th of April at TARRAGÓ’s premises.

As a result, it was decided to set up a commercial partnership between the two companies with the aim to introduce, install and put into operation for the first time on the Romanian and Moldavian markets the windmill water-pumping systems produced by TARRAGÓ.

SEDEPE Company which was founded in Bucharest four years ago, will carry on representation, commercial and consulting activities in the name of TARRAGÓ in both countries. SEDEPE is a consulting company for the development of unconventional energy projects in the fields of solar, photovoltaic, micro-hydro power, wind and geothermal energy, environmental assessments and carbon emission monitoring as well as the import-export of goods in the above mentioned fields do also represent the core activities of SEDEPE.

Romania and the Republic of Moldova are new markets for this type of windmills, so that TARRAGÓ windmills will be the first of their kind to be introduced there. As envisaged by the European Union (EU), Romania and Moldova have to improve the development of their agricultural and tourist activities in a sustainable way, so that SEDEPE is aiming to go in line with these EU requirements when planning to utilize water pumping windmills of Spanish origin into their projects.

Potential clients have already showed their interest to SEDEPE projects in what regards this environmental-friendly new equipment. Several visits in order to implement the new equipment are planned for the Buzau and Ialomita region (50km - 150 km East from Bucharest) and to other site, as well as vegetable producing cooperatives.
