This week: Interview with Gerald Pauli, Sales Engineer from ASC GmbH
Windfair: Is the Wind Energy Industry a priority for your company? How so?
Gerald Pauli: We are focusing on the Wind Energy Industry very strongly. ASC has built up very good partnerships in the sectors automotive and rail traffic in recent years. We also want to implement our experiences into the wind energy industry and thus enter a further market segment for our accelerometers. ASC is prepared to invest in the wind energy sector as well as in new human resources.
Windfair: How many employees does your company have?
Gerald Pauli: ASC has 9 employees.
Windfair: How many dedicated to Wind Energy?
Gerald Pauli: Four. A colleague in marketing, a sales person, a colleague for the development and a production staff are involved in developing the new ASC offshore sensor.
Windfair: Do you have any new or upcoming Wind Energy Products or Services?
Gerald Pauli: ASC is developing a new offshore accelerometer and will launch it in the 4th quarter 2011.
Windfair: Do you have any special training programs for your employees?
Gerald Pauli: Not yet.
Windfair: Tell us about your future developments. What can we expect in the next year or two?
Gerald Pauli: We have been able to win several projects in wind energy. The satisfaction of our customers was the reason to invest in further developments of ASC accelerometers.
