OX2 has signed an agreement to sell a 20 MW onshore wind farm in Bejsce, Poland, to Enea Nowa Energia, a part of the Polish energy group Enea. The contract value is 680 MSEK* and the sale was completed in the third quarter of 2023.
OX2’s offshore wind farm Triton off the southern coast of Sweden has received a Natura 2000 permit. In June the County Administrative Board finalized their handling by suggesting the government to grant Triton a permit according to the Act on Sweden's Exclusive Economic Zone. If the government gives the final approval construction could start by 2027 and production start before 2030.
The County Administrative Board of Skåne has decided that the offshore wind farm Triton can get permission to be built according to the Act on Sweden’s exclusive economic zone. OX2 and Ingka Investments welcome the decision and if the government gives final approval construction could start already 2027.
OX2 and Ingka Investments enters into conditional agreement with NKT for delivery and installation of export power cables. NKT’s facility in Karlskrona will deliver the cables for the recently awarded Galene project in Sweden. The agreement also covers the Triton offshore wind farm. The agreement will enable OX2 and Ingka Investments to start realising the projects following grant of final permits.

OX2 has initiated the development of the offshore energy hub Neptunus in southern Baltic Sea. The energy hub is estimated to have a total installed capacity of 1.9 GW and will produce both electricity and hydrogen. The project will be included in OX2’s project development portfolio for the first quarter, 2023.

OX2 and the Bank of Åland’s mutual fund subsidiary Ålandsbanken Fondbolag, which are developing the Noatun North and Noatun South offshore wind power projects near Finland’s Åland archipelago in the Baltic Sea, have initiated a feasibility study for the planning and establishment of a “Mega Grön Hamn” (Mega Green Port) with a location coexisting with the port of Långnäs in Åland. The project is a key element of efforts to create the Nordic region’s leading green hub in Åland, with an extra focus in this project on the shipping segment and the establishment of new business operations in Åland.
OX2 has initiated the development of the offshore wind farm Tyrsky in the Gulf of Bothnia in the Finnish economic zone. The project that is estimated to have a total installed capacity of 1,400 MW and will be included in OX2’s project development portfolio for the first quarter, 2023.
OX2 sells the Niinimäki wind farm in Finland to the Finnish energy company Helen and Bank of Åland’s Wind Power Fund. The wind farm will consist of 22 turbines and have a total installed capacity of 145 MW.
On August 29, OX2 announced that an agreement had been signed with Ingka Investments for the sale of 49 percent of three offshore wind projects in Sweden, with a potential capacity of 9,000 MW.

OX2 has signed a cooperation agreement with TMV Green Oü to develop about 500 MW onshore wind projects in Estonia. TMV Green will be responsible for land use, licensing, and grid connection and OX2 will be responsible for the financing, construction, and implementation of the projects in the portfolio.

DIF Capital Partners has committed to acquire two onshore wind projects in Poland from OX2 with a capacity totaling 63 MW.
OX2, a leading Nordic developer in onshore wind power, and YIT, the largest construction company in Finland, have agreed on the purchase of Finland’s largest wind power project, located in Lestijärvi municipality in Central Ostrobothnia. In the now confirmed transaction, OX2 acquires the project rights for 72 wind turbines from YIT.
