The Emsland-based company ELA Container Offshore GmbH is currently working on a temporary accommodation project to house some 60 offshore employees on a converter platform in the North Sea.

From 27th until 30th of August 2018, ELA Container Offshore GmbH will be exhibiting at the ONS 2018, the Offshore Northern Seas. The ONS takes place in Stavanger, Norway.

From 12 until 14 June 2018, ELA Container Offshore GmbH will be exhibiting at the ICOE 2018, the International Conference on Ocean Energy. The ICOE takes place in Cherbourg, Normandy (France) in La Cité de la Mer.

Each year the WINDFORCE in Bremerhaven is one of the go-to events for ELA Container Offshore. ELA Container Offshore GmbH recently supplied two Offshore Living Quarters and two Offshore Wastewater Tanks to Meriaura Group based in Turku, Finland. The units were installed on board their open deck cargo carrier ‘Meri’. Together with their vessel ‘Aura’, ‘Meri’ will be performing marine research for the Finnish Environment Institute SYKE and the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute SMHI.

ELA Container Offshore GmbH will again be participating at the Offshore Energy 2017 in Amsterdam. The exhibition will take place on 10th and 11th of October 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. ELA Container Offshore GmbH has recently delivered an ELA Offshore Multipurpose Room to VBMS, which will be used on board their MV Ndeavor, a 7,500 DWT DP-2 vessel, built and outfitted for cable-lying in 2013 by Boskalis. VBMS is a subsidiary of Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V., specialized in subsea power cable installation, Balance of Plant maintenance for the renewable market, SURF installation for the oil & gas market and installation of interconnectors.

ELA Container Offshore GmbH has delivered two 20 ft Offshore Multipurpose Containers to Siem Offshore Contractors GmbH, a company based in Leer, Germany. The containers were installed on board the ‘Siddis Mariner’, which is currently operating as a Walk-to-Work Service Operation Vessel (SOV) on an offshore wind farm located in the North Sea. The offshore wind farm is located about 100 km north of the island Borkum and comprises 80 wind turbines with a total capacity of 400 MW.

ELA Container Offshore GmbH has confirmed to be exhibiting at numerous exhibitions in 2017. Not only international exhibitions will be attended this year, but also international exhibitions in the fields of Offshore Wind and Offshore Oil and Gas.

ELA Container Offshore GmbH announced the development of a new offshore container type: a 10 m x 3 m wide, high-cube accommodation container with interior hallway and two cabins. The first 24 containers of this new type have already been built at the premises in Haren, Germany. ELA Offshore managed to deliver all required containers from scratch in only 3 months from project kick-off, including design and development up to turnkey delivery on an offshore converter station in the German North Sea.
