Welcome to the new edition of the Windfair Newsletter.

In just a few years, China has become a pioneer in the expansion of renewable energies - leaving Europe and the U.S. far behind. Nevertheless, all that glitters is not gold in the Far East. In this week's editorial, we take a closer look at the country and the current race for the energy transition.

A great deal of global attention is focussed on the COP28 world climate summit, which starts today. Whether and what results can be expected remains to be seen, as the overall geopolitical situation is more tense than ever.
