Welcome to the new edition of the Windfair Newsletter.

The European offshore wind industry is currently struggling: High costs and long waiting times determine everyday life. All the more eagerly, therefore, we look to Rostock, Germany today, where a decision is expected on whether converter platforms for offshore wind farms will be built in the city in the future. You can read more about the long battle with the German armed forces over a port area in today's Editorial.

Western OEMs must grapple with insufficient manufacturing capacity to meet forecast global demand, while investing in new capacity expansion is difficult due to profitability pressures, a new analysis says. Nevertheless, three OEMs will surpass the 300 GW cumulative install mark this decade. Read more about this topic in our Highlights section.
