Welcome to the new edition of the Windfair Newsletter.

Our editorial this week dives deeper into the renewable energy investment numbers, which hit a new record high in the first half of 2023. But the money is unevenly distributed.

Meanwhile, industry association Wind Energy Ireland warns that the 2024 budget will be Ireland's last opportunity to address its 2030 targets, given the long timelines for infrastructure deployment. In California, data show the state's progress in building a more resilient grid, achieving 100 percent clean power and meeting its net zero goals. Continue in the highlights.

Read all about these stories – and much more – in this week's edition. Enjoy your readings!
