Van Oord to install Italy's first offshore wind farm
Detail_van_oord_20210901Van Oord’s MPI Resolution vessel will install the 10 turbines for the Taranto Offshore Wind Farm in Italy. Once installed it will be the first offshore wind farm in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Taranto wind farm will have a capacity of 30 MW and an estimated output of 58,000 MWh per year. It is located near the harbour of Taranto, Italy and will be equipped with turbines by Chinese manufacturer Ming Yang Smart Energy.
