It's no secret that the future of wind energy lies on the oceans. Offshore markets around the world are booming, and turbines are getting bigger and more efficient. Floating wind turbines offer opportunities for even more countries to drive decarbonization. But there are also challenges.

According to the latest '2020 Global Offshore Wind Annual Market Report' by The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG), more than 200 GW of new offshore wind projects have been announced since the beginning of 2020.
