WindEnergy Hamburg 2020 - An Outlook
Detail_hamburg_skylineOne of wind industry's leading trade shows, WindEnergy in Hamburg, traditionally takes place all two years in September. However, COVID-19 has put a damper on the industry. After weeks of uncertainty, the show has now been moved to 1 - 4 December 2020 and initial information about the event is available - with a current view at wind industry itself.

WindEnergy 2020 will be different - in many ways. This was already noticeable at the press conference, which this year for the first time was held virtually. Nevertheless, Bernd Aufderheide of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH had assembled a panel of experts to jointly give an outlook on the show and the current situation of wind industry in times of the pandemic.

Nordex Wins Contract in Brazil
Detail_nordex_20171214_sNordex Group won a new customer in Brazil - and will now be constructing and maintaining a 90 MW wind farm for COPEL.

Nordex has received a contract from energy company COPEL - Companhia Paranaense de Energia - for the delivery and installation of 26 AW132/3465 turbines in Brazil. The contract also comprises the servicing of the turbines over a period of 20 years.
