While the remaining 20,000 jobs in the German coal industry have recently been supported by a package worth billions, more and more jobs are being lost in renewable energies. Now Germany's largest wind turbine manufacturer Enercon has announced the loss of 3,000 jobs - and blamed the German government.
Last year wind turbine manufacturer Enercon already had to cut 800 jobs in Germany, now another 3,000 are to follow. Especially the locations in Aurich and Magdeburg with 1,500 jobs each are affected by the redundancies, said Enercon spokesman Felix Rehwald to
