The French Ministry of Ecology and Energy Transition selected a consortium of EDF Renewables, Enbridge and innogy to design, build, operate and maintain the planned Dunkerque offshore wind farm.
The planned wind farm is to be built around 10 km off the coast of France and, with an installed capacity of around 600 MW, will make an important contribution to achieving the French government's goal of covering 32 percent of the country's electricity requirements from renewable energy sources by 2030.
