Since the first Europeans entered the American continent several centuries ago, much suffering has been inflicted on the indigenous population. Even today, many of them live in reservations where unemployment is high and chances of advancement low. For some time now, however, something has changed: more and more indigenous people are involved in electricity production using renewable energies.
