South Africa Continues to Expand Wind Energy
Detail_tafelberg_kapstadtTwo more wind farms have started commercial operation in South Africa this month. With a total capacity of 280 megawatts, the two neighbouring wind farms of Loeriesfontein and Khobab together form the largest single area of wind power plants in the country.

Peikko Receives Order for Giant Swedish Wind Farm
Detail_ge_20171107Swedish subsidiary of the Finnish Peikko Group, Peikko Sverige AB, has received an extensive order for the supply of gravity foundations for the Markbygden wind farm in Piteå in northern Sweden.

The Markbygden wind farm will be constructed in three phases and will comprise a total of 179 wind turbines with a total capacity of 650 MW. This makes it the largest onshore park in Europe.
