Ampelmann, the Dutch offshore access provider, is assisting with the construction of Equinor’s Hywind Tampen – the first commercial floating wind farm in Norway. An E1000 gangway was fitted to OSCV Siem Barracuda in early December and within the next six months, a second Ampelmann gangway will begin its operations on the wind farm.
Ampelmann, the Dutch offshore access provider, has sold its first W-type gangway system to offshore shipping company Olympic Offshore Wind AS. The system will be installed on the Olympic Orion in early 2023 when the vessel will complete its conversion to a Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV).

The company will provide two A-type and three E1000 systems, which will aid the installation and maintenance work at Offshore Wind farms in the North Sea. In total, this will add up to 380 days of firm work, with possibilities to extend.
