AD 8-180 prototype: Adwen enters final stage of installation
The nacelle has finished all pre-commissioning tests and has been connected to the hub. The first three tower sections, including the power section, are already in place. The rotor blades are on site and waiting to be lifted.
Adwen continues the development of its 8MW platform and has entered the final stages in the installation of the AD 8-180 prototype in Bremerhaven (Germany). The foundation, including hammering 51 piles into the ground and installing 1,700 m³ of concrete, was finished earlier this year. In addition, the first three sections of the tower have been installed, including the power section. The fourth will be installed in the coming days.
