For centuries native Americans have been stripped off their land, persecuted, killed, and locked away in reservations. Most of the time these reservations are located in areas that otherwise offer little in the way of opportunities: No raw materials, far outside civilization, and often not even usable for farming. But now the land is arousing new desires.
Google and Eneco have signed a corporate Power Purchase Agreement (cPPA) for the supply of approximately 0.5 TWh of green electricity with a capacity of 153 MW per year for a period of 10 years.

Based on this power purchase agreement (PPA), Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH has secured the delivery of 114 megawatts (MW) of green electricity over a period of 15 years from the new offshore wind farm that is scheduled to go online at the end of 2024.
Freja Offshore is a 50-50 joint venture between Mainstream Renewable Power and Hexicon. The planned floating wind project is located off the coast of Sweden.
