DONG Energy Extends Order of Communications Hubs to Hornsea Project One Offshore Wind Farm
DONG Energy has signed a new contract with SeaRoc Group for the deployment of two communication containers - SeaHub™ - for its Hornsea Project One Offshore Wind Farm construction phase.
SeaRoc Group has already provided a total of four SeaHub units to DONG Energy for the Race Bank and Walney Extension sites. SeaHub is an unmanned containerised communications solution enabling voice and data communications and tracking of personnel, vessels, helicopters and equipment for offshore projects. The solution is particularly beneficial for far offshore projects such a Hornsea Project One which will be located 120 kilometers off the Yorkshire coast.
