Wind Energy Company Profile: Haus der Technik e.V.

Established in 1927 in Essen, the Haus der Technik (HDT) is Germany oldest as well as one of its leading independent advanced educational institutes for skilled personnel and executives. Around 17,000 participants annually take advantage of the institute in Essen as well as its subsidiaries located in Berlin and Munich.

With its wide spectrum of educational opportunities in the fields of electrical engineering, power engineering, electronics, automotive engineering, medical science, chemistry, civil engineering, quality management and environmental protection, HDT concentrates on trendsetting core industries. More than 5,000 instructors, selected experts from science and economics, lend knowledge from their area of expertise – up-to-date, practical and scientifically based.

Haus der Technik is an associated institute of the RWTH Aachen University. HDT also maintains close contact to businesses and research institutes and sees itself as a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
