Deepwater Wind Scouts for Offshore Facility Location
Detail_deepwater_wind_20160629The company which has developed the first offshore wind farm in the U.S. is searching for a location to build their assembling facility for further offshore activities.

So far, Deepwater Wind has eyed three possible locations for their facility: New Bedford, Fall River and Somerset, all on the South coast in Massachusetts. The company wants to assemble the wind turbine foundations for its Revolution Wind Offshore Wind Farm in the state.

Denmark Talks about Expanding Wind Turbine Test Centres
Detail_dtu_20180328_2The expansion of the two test centres for wind turbine in Østerild and Høvsøre will be discussed at the Danish parliament on April 5th.

The plan for the two centres is to be expanded with an additional two test stands each. So there will be seven test stands in Høvsøre and nine in Østerild. Both centres are located in northern Jutland.
